More GCI:PictureProviderThis is the GCI website presenting the portfolios of illustrators from our team who create images suitable for Advertising and Editorial needs. Great Creative ImaginationsThe GCI artists' blog for displaying recent artwork and general discussion on Illustration matters. Make a Claim(sources of possible additional income from your published illustrations): DACSThe Design and Artists Copyright Society (DACS) collects licensing revenue for secondary uses of published illustrations such as photocopying. If your illustrations have been published then you are encouraged to submit an annual 'Payback' claim for a share of this revenue. We at GCI can do this on your behalf or click on the link to read more about DACS and how to submit a claim yourself. PLRPublic Lending Right (PLR) is the right for authors and Illustrators to receive payment under PLR legislation for the loans of their books by public libraries. To qualify for PLR in a book you should be named on its title page or be entitled to a royalty payment from the publisher (but you do not have to own the copyright). Unfortunately GCI cannot apply for this on your behalf so you will need to register and apply yourself. Further details can be found on the PLR website. Website Design:HarbourtownThe GCI websites are designed, implemented and maintained by Martin Baxter. Take a look at the Harbourtown website to see further examples of his work. More Illustration:Museum of IllustrationWhile we await the physical museum, this website details the plans to create a museum dedicated solely to the art of illustration.
